What type of shampoo and conditioner should I use if I have dry thin hair?

I swim too so I think I may have to use a anti chlorine conditioner.

How many times for both of them and any techniques or something to help my hair stay alive looking and not frizzy and dead.

Anti-chlorine conditioner? I didn't even know they had something like that?

Use shampoo and conditioner from Dove.

Don't shampoo your hair too much. Shampoo your hair every other day. But condition every single day. It keeps your hair really silky smooth and super soft.

Get a haircut atleast once every 3 months.

Once a week, rub super hot olive oil or coconut oil or mustard oil into your hair. Make sure it's really hot. Avoid rubbing it into the roots, but really focus on massaging it into the ends of your hair. Leave it in for a couple of hours, then shampoo it out.

Another mask is of 1 egg and 1/2 cup of yogurt. Leave it in for 20 minutes then shampoo it out.

Eat lots of protein, that's what your hair is made out of. Try lean meats like white meat and fish. If you're vegetarian, try lentils. Avoid red meat.

Please don't start going on those weird pills like folic acid or biovitamin or something.

The biggest mistake most people make with their hair is to shampoo too often.

It is okay to wash your hair daily, but if you shampoo and/or condition and/or do other things to your hair, I'm supprised it doesn't all fall out. And I know a few people who already have hair falling out and dare to question why....duh!!!

Abuse your hair, you will lose it. Your hair developes natural oils to protect it. This was nature before shampoo existed. The more you abuse it, the more you lose it.

If you shampoo, do so no more than 3 to 4 times a week, and wash it without shampoo the rest of the time. Nature always did better than anything in a bottle.

Or, if you don't care for this advise, watch it go down the drain and cry.
