Are their any homemade remedies for dry, damaged hair?

I've never tried this but have heard of it before: "Want to put the life back into your limp or damaged hair? You can whip up a terrific hair conditioner by combining 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar with 2 tablespoons olive oil and 3 egg whites. Rub the mixture into your hair, then keep it covered for 30 minutes using plastic wrap or a shower cap. When time's up, shampoo and rinse as usual."

I herd mayo but best remedies is the stuff at the store or hair salon. They are made to moisturize your dry damaged hair. Any other kind of home product might make it worst or too oilly.

Olive oil left in for awhile with a warm towel wrapped around your hair to help it seep in. It will take about three dozen shampoos to get it all out, but it works.

Natural Henna with no color is great you can get it at any store that carries hair color products. Also the mayo is a good answer but it really depends on what type of hair you have and why it's dry? Damaged? How damaged? A store like Pure Beauty or one that carries Lot's of hair care products will also be able to give you some advice. If you find one that people have a cosmetology license then you will get the best answers.

Also why not ask you hairstylist? A treatment can solve the problem too and get answers to why it's damaged and what advice from them that would make you happy.

Half/half Sesame Seed Oil/Olive Oil....leave on hair 20 minutes.....shampoo/rinse well....a few treatments of this mix will help .....I also like Alberto VO5....comes in a tube....use on clean hair. Apply sparingly..gives a nice shine as well.....

Believe it or not mayonnaise NOT salad dressing MAYO! My mom used to load that on her hair and then put a shower cap on for about 10 minutes then wash and condition her hair was always so shiny and silky.

Warm NOT hot olive oil is good too, load it on, shower cap, 10 minutes then shampoo and condition.
