If you have dry hair, then it just gets really nasty to touch. It kind of gets poofy, there are split ends and it feels like dead grass (sort of, not literally) You can usually get a few strands of hair, then if you pull on the ends and they break, then you have damaged hair. If your hair also dries very quickly, it is also a sign that you may have dry hair
