Do you wash your hair every day? If so try to wash it less often, you will find it won't get as oily.

On the days you don't wash it, just wet it, add conditioner and rinse. Your hair should be less oily in a few weeks.

If you have oily hair, use what is called a clarification shampoo, its the politically correct term now for oily. It cleanses the oils but is not recommended for chemical or color treated hair. Use only a creme rinse two to three times a week. Not everyday. Get a good trim for the split ends, and when you do use a creme rinse pay special attention to the ends of your hair and not the scalp as much. Blow drying contributes to split ends as does sun, wind, and heat appliances.Infusium 23 is a good product for split ends, and you can buy this most anywhere and you can dilute it some. It will usually be on the bottom shelf in the stores.

Hmmm... if you wash your hair daily, bring it back to once or twice a week. And I heard that changing your shampoo/conditioner once a month helps as well. I reccomend Dove or Garnier Fructis. Herbal Essences does smell good buit it has too much chemicals which is the reason for the oil.

And for the split ends, don't blow-dry or use irons often for your hair, it damages alot. What I do is straighten/blowfry my hair once a week. The frizziness happens to everyone... yous hould see me, I look like a junkie/hippie/drug attict when my hair is frizzy after a shower.

try using a shampoo for oily hair, my dad and my sister have oily hair and they use a shampoo for there hair type, if you look on the shampoo bottle in the store it usualy will say what hair type it is for.
