What's the best shampoo and conditioner for dry hair that's prone to burnt ends?

I used to use a sraightener that had fabric on it to protect my hair but it just didnt heat up to the right tempature. So I switched to a Coriolis but the tips of my hair started to curl a bit and were very dry. I would quit using a straightener since my hair is pretty straight, but it's so think I just cant do anything else that I like without using it. So what can I use to prevent burnt ends and keep my hair feeling soft even when I use a straightener?
