I've been dying my hair for many years now...im a natural dark blonde but ive dyed it several times to different shades of blonde (im currently a light golden blonde) i've ever went black, all shades of brown, and also red...so my hair has become severly dry and damaged over the years. I try and keep it semi healthy no by only dying it once a month (to touch up my roots n such) and i get the dead ends cut off about once a month too. I use hair mask and different shampoos and conditions but nothing actually really helps or makes that much of a difference. Is there anything out there worth buying anymore to help my hair?
I've used the expensive Nexxus shampoos and conditioners that do help some...and also garnier fructise, herbel essences, even suave products. I've heard decent things from Sunsilk...should I give that a shot?
Any tips would be great, thanks!
Dry/Damaged.. Color treated hair repair?!?
I have been coloring my hair for quite awhile, and also work in a salon... I would recommend using salon quality products, as they have ingredients specifically for overtreated hair...I would also take a trip to your local salon and have them give you a deep conditioning treatment...or for a do it yourself treatment: wash hair, put conditioner on hair and then a shower cap...heat the shower cap (don't get too close, it might melt!!) all around your head for 5-10 minutes... take off cap and rinse! your hair will be nice and soft!! (try to use a deep conditioning treatment for this...I like Grund (wayne grund) Tiger Masque....)

I highly recommend Thermasilk and Aussie products. Aussie is extremely affordable and works GREAT. They have moisture shampoos and conditioners, and 3 minute miracle deep conditioner, plus heat protecting products.
You need to be using good shampoos and conditioners and products to keep your hair healthy. Leave-in conditioner is great.

Use less irons.. Heat damages hair... And get a deep conditioning once a wk. using hair mayo and trim hair every 6 wks. Setting your hair also promotes growth...

Dry/Damaged.. Color treated hair repair?!?
try tresemme..but wasting money on expensive shampoos that don't do nothing but leave it the same is a no no, try letting your hair grow out so the damage can go away or, cut your hair as short as you can tolerate and start healthy and fresh.
